Hi, 

I'm Kate and I have the best job in the world as School Chaplain at Mt Gravatt State School!  

 School Chaplains provide social, emotional and pastoral care to school communities. They can help students to deal with a range of issues including friendships, feelings, family relationships and grief.  

At Mt Gravatt State School, I work with our students to further develop their social and emotional skills, encouraging kindness towards themselves and others. One days a week I work in classrooms, at lunchtimes and in small groups to encourage our students. Through many activities, games and craft, I seek to create a fun way for our students to learn, building their confidence and friendships. 

Unfortunately Mt Gravatt State School doesn't receive funding through the National Student Wellbeing Program, we rely solely on fundraising.  

So, we need your help! 

Please consider donating to the MGSS Chaplaincy program - to help keep our Chaplain at the school supporting the community!
