An increase in community funding for the Lawnton State School Chaplaincy Service. We currently have 4 days of government, community and fundraising donations to maintain 4 days of SU chaplaincy service at the school.Lawnton State School currently has 646 students enrolled. The school currently runs a breakfast and lunch club which the chaplaincy service contributes significantly towards the provision of fresh bread, fresh fruit and stacks through partnerships with local churches and generous donations.
The SU Chaplains provide social and emotional support to students requiring this extra layer of care at school. This support happens through mentoring programs, one on one conversations, support groups and the Lunchtime SUPA Club program.
Please give generously and place an SU chaplain at Lawnton State School for 5 days a week in 2024.
