I'm fundraising for Mackay State High School (3 days) & Mackay West State School (2 days)

Hi,
My name is Phil Hall. I am Chaplain from Monday to Wednesday at Mackay State High School and from Thursday to Friday at Mackay West State School.

I have a heart for supporting kids, youth, families and staff who are struggling to find hope and meaning in their daily lives. I honestly believe that school chaplaincy is an instrument of hope for many who don't receive enough encouragement and support in life.

Chaplaincy is only partially funded by the government. For the rest of our funding we rely on the community- people like you who believe in our mission of 'bringing hope to a young generation.'

2023 SU Jump Camp

Tuesday 11th Jul
Chaplains and Campers have recently finished their annual SU Jump Camp. The rainforest walk, go-karts, archery, basketball and table tennis were all hits over the four day week. The Campers also studied the book of Daniel in the Bible to grow in their Christian faith. What a great way to start the holidays. This Camp is getting stronger and stronger each year. Well done to the organisers.

"What a fantastic camp!"

Tuesday 4th Oct
Students came from as far as Collinsville, Bowen, Sarina and Mackay to enjoy a week of fun at SU Activate Camp on the September holidays. The Messy Games, Wake Park, Beach Games and camping under the stars were all part of making friends and having fun. Supported by the community and our SU Chaplains, the campers are now enjoying a well earned rest by going back to school. Don't miss out next year for 2023 SU Activate Camp!

Tuesday 6th Sep
SU Activate Camp 25 - 28 September. Camp fliers are flying out of my hand today. The second week of September holidays is going to be a great time to meet friends, hang out with Chappy and pack a heap of fun in. Check out the details and register quickly.

The Brekky Club has reached 15 years of operation so we decided to freshen up our signage and Logo. The Brekky Club is a much loved part of the school culture and has about 60 plus students through each day.
