Taree West Public School is proud to have our wonderful Chaplain, Leonie Jones, as part of our school community. For the past nine years, we have greatly benefited from the chaplaincy program, which has supported many students in their social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Leonie holds a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Counselling, and delivers a range of valuable programs including Seasons for Growth, Stormbirds, and one-on-one mentoring. She is a warm and approachable presence in our playground, always ready to offer a listening ear and friendly support to students.
Currently, Leonie works three days a week at Taree West, but we would love to have her with us five days a week. To make this possible, we need your support!
