I'm fundraising for 1 Day Chaplaincy with Rocklea State School

Hi 

My name is Gail Lansdell I have been the very 1st School Chaplain at Rocklea State School thanks to some Government funding and a SUA anonymous donor that has helped me be at the school from the middle of 3rd Term of 2022.  I have fortunately, received government funding for 2024.  However, in 2025 I will need extra community support to keep me on at the school.

My role at Rocklea State School is to provide pastoral care wellbeing to all staff, students, carers and parents.  I also assist in the classrooms, playground, breakfast club, homework club and school community events.

Your support to School Chaplaincy is very much appreciated as I now fully rely on community funding and its people like you who believe in our mission as a Chaplain to 'bring hope to a young generation.'

Chappy Week Rocklea State School Fundraiser

Thursday 16th May
In Week 9 of this Term, we are running a "Colour Explosion Fun Run" for School Chaplaincy in the school.  It is so much fun and the person with the most fundraising gets to slime me.  The fundraising helps me to stay in the school one day a week where I provide emotional, psychological, spiritual and practical support to the school community that are in need or a crisis,
