The Camp Hill State Infants and Primary School Chaplaincy Spellathon is raising money to enable Chappy Mal to work at the school four days a week.

Chappy Mal has been the chaplain at CHSIPS since 2011 providing pastoral care and emotional support and is well known for his LEGO mentoring program. Chappy Mal helps students find better ways to deal with issues ranging from family breakdown, loneliness, friendship issues or grief and loss. He provides a listening ear and a caring presence for children in crisis. He also provides support for staff and parents in the school community.
