RACHEL - Woodbridge School
BRINGING HOPE TO YOUNG PEOPLE
My name is Rachel and I am the chaplain at Woodbridge School, Tasmania. I have a practical role which benefits the school community and helps young people discover life.
As an SU chaplain, I provide pastoral and emotional support to my school community. Working with other wellbeing staff in schools, I am in the prevention and support business: helping students find a better way to deal with issues ranging from family breakdown and loneliness to friendships and mental health. I provide a listening ear and a caring presence for students, staff and families in schools.
The federally-funded National School Wellbeing Program provides a contribution towards the costs of employing a school chaplain but we need your help to cover full costs. Your support helps ensure the school chaplaincy program remains sustainable into the future!
