Algester State School P&C and the School Chaplaincy Program are running a school wide Spell-a-thon. This is to help raise for the School Chaplaincy Program.
We encourage all students to register and take part in this fun event.
The Spell-a-thon will run during Week 9 of Term 3 for all classes.

Highest Overall class fundraiser - Pizza Party
Raise over $50 and be entered into a draw for one of 2 speakers.

How do I register my child for the Spell-a-thon?
Parents must first register themselves to create a main account. Once you are logged in, you can create a dedicated fundraising page for your child linked to your profile.
I have multiple children. Can I use the same email for all of them?
The system requires a unique email for every registration. However, if you use a supported email provider, you can use the "plus trick" to register multiple accounts that all direct to your main inbox.

Important Note: This trick does not typically work with Yahoo, BigPond, or most work/corporate email addresses. If you use one of these providers, you will need to use a different valid email address (e.g., a partner’s email or a newly created free Gmail account) for each additional child.
Where do the funds raised go?
All funds raised will go directly towards supporting School Chaplaincy services at Algester via SU Australia, helping provide social, emotional, and spiritual support to our school community.
What platform is the event running on?
We are using Funraisin, a secure and easy-to-use fundraising platform. Your data is protected, and the platform makes it easy to track donations.
Will there be prizes?
Yes! Prizes will be drawn at the end of the event to celebrate the students' reading efforts and fundraising achievements.
How do friends and family donate?
Once your child is registered, you will get a unique link to their page. You can share this via email or social media. Donors can pay securely online using a credit card.
I forgot my login details. What should I do?
Click the "Login" button and select "Forgot Password." Be sure to enter the specific email address you used for the account you are trying to access (including the +childname part if applicable).
When is the Spell-a-thon taking place?
The Spell-a-thon will take place in Term 3.
